Since 2011 India has been the largest source country for migrants to Australia. In particular, Indian migrants are an important source for Australia’s skilled visa program.
In 2016-17, India again topped the list as the major source country for migrants to Australia, with the overwhelming majority of visas granted being within the skilled program.
Although the skilled program continues to be dominated by Indian migrants, the business innovation program statistics show very few business visas are granted to Indian migrants.
Despite being the fastest growing major economy in the world, Indian migrants are underrepresented in the Department of Immigration statistics for the business migration program.
At Rostron Carlyle we believe it is in Australia’s national interest to foster this connection with India to develop business and investment ties between these two countries.
We are committed to establishing a business migration pathway from India to Australia. Our commitment has seen us travel to India on numerous occasions since August 2016 to meet and assess the eligibility of potential business migrants
In doing so, we have discovered that our standing and connections in India put us in a unique position. Many Indian business men and women are unaware of the Australian business migration pathway available to them and we are able to provide them with this knowledge in collaboration with our partners Spatial Impacts and SMC Realty.
In April 2018, Rostron Carlyle will host a major event promoting the business migration pathway to a large number of eligible applicants. The event will bring on board many sponsors and delegates interested in fostering Australia’s business trade and investment relationship with India.
